The Defense Intelligence Agency of Ukraine (DIU) announced that it had received 100GB of confidential data from one of the important companies in the Russian military-industrial complex, Special Technology Center (STC) LLC.

According to DIU, this Russian company has been sanctioned since 2016. The company’s facilities produce Orlan drones, a range of electronic warfare and reconnaissance equipment, and other military products

`DIU was transferred documents on 194 items: blueprints, specifications, patents, software, etc., on both current and future military developments,` the agency announced.

According to DIU’s preliminary estimates, the value of this data is about 1.5 billion USD.

DIU stated that this is a development that causes serious disadvantage to Russia because Kiev will use the above documents to strengthen its defense capacity and weaken Moscow.

Ukrainian intelligence also revealed it obtained secret Russian military documents through effective cooperation with `patriots from the civil society community and the media.`

Ukraine’s military website Militarnyi quoted a source as saying that the above document may have been leaked from an employee of the Russian company, but did not specify the evidence.

Ukraine announced that it had received information related to a series of modern Russian weapons, including Orlan-10, Altius, Inokhodets, Sirius drones, 14C227 Tobol and Svet-KU electronic warfare systems, and Svet-KU electronic warfare systems.

Some of the documents obtained relate not only to existing technologies, but also to future technologies that could contribute to the development of Ukrainian weapons, Militarnyi said.

Russia has not commented on Ukraine’s information.

If the information provided by Ukraine is true, it could be an unfavorable development for Russia.

On the battlefield, the deciding factor in the success or failure of a war is not limited to the deployment of powerful and effective weapon systems, but the question is how these weapons will be used.

To plan tactics, military leaders need an element as important as weapons, which is information.

Observers say that facing an opponent with overwhelming military resources, Ukraine has tried every way to collect information as a `weapon` to deal with Russia.
