Genshin Impact reveals version 2.1: Officially launches the lightning god Baal, giving away free 5-star characters 1
Last night miHoYo officially launched update version 2.1 `Autumn Moon Illuminates, Watching the World` of Genshin Impact which will be released on September 1, 2021.
After the large-scale content expansion released in version 2.0, the main plot revolving around the Traveler, Thunder God, other forces and people in Inazuma will reach the final chapter of the Demon God Quest in this version.
Through exploring the plot, players will also be able to visit Watatsumi Island, the headquarters of the Resistance with a dreamy landscape, and a deserted island covered by constant storms.
Meanwhile, three important Inazuma characters Raiden Shogun, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Kujou Sara will join as new playable characters.
Another 5-star character is Sangonomiya Kokomi, the Holy Magus of Watatsumi Island, who is also the supreme leader of the Resistance against Raiden Shogun.
Outside of Inazuma, the Moon Banishing Ceremony will take place next season.
Treasure-loving players can also participate in the `Finding the Moonlight` event, embarking on a large-scale treasure hunt in Liyue, Mondstadt and Longxi Snow Mountain to receive instant rewards and exchange for useful items
Fishing events will also be available in version 2.1.
Starting from version 2.1, the first cooperation character `Otherworldly Savior – Aloy` is also released as a free 5-star character.
